Dirt World Summer Workshop is HERE!

Dare I say this is our NEATEST event yet?

Training and development are the hottest of topics in the industry.

How are the best companies developing their people? And how can you take what they’re doing and apply it with your team?

I’ve had the good fortune of touring some of the finest industry facilities in America and worldwide.

At the top of my list? Knife River’s training facility in Albany, Oregon.

The place is NUTS… Beautiful classrooms, an 80,000 square foot indoor dome, and a simulated town for the most realistic industry training anywhere.

If only you could see such a place and learn how they’ve built their training, from craft to leadership, from the ground up…

OH WAIT… YOU CAN!

The fine folks at Knife River have agreed to host 150 industry leaders this June 3-6 for a workshop specifically dedicated to training and development.

Not only will their team break down the Knife River training program, but we’ll also have leaders from some of the other top training programs we’ve seen across America present to share their top tips and strategies.

If you’re a leader wanting to learn how to develop your people better (I’m raising my hand), you won’t find a better event in the Dirt World.

You can learn more and sign up using the link here! I’ll see you there!

Dirt Talk Podcast

In this episode, Aaron is joined by Philip Sutton, a Lecturer at Ohio State University. Philip teaches three classes, estimating construction, heavy construction, and the program's capstone course. These courses cover a wide range of topics to prepare students to join the workforce as leaders in their respective fields.

Philip draws his knowledge from years of experience in the field, both directly in the field and in the office as an estimator. Ultimately he decided that he could better serve his community in the classroom, teaching others not just to do the work but how to be leaders on the job site.

If you want more insight on getting ahead in the construction industry, this lesson is a freebie!

Vlog

Welcome to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, where the world's finest riders compete at races across America over a grueling months-long schedule of races for the number one spot.

There's a ton of information on the sport and the racing online, but what about the dirt? How do they maintain the track during the event? And where does all the dirt go when the checkered flag comes down?

We traveled to the latest SX event in St. Louis to find out! Enter Dirt Wurx—the amazing company and team behind every track on the calendar. Every week, they build, maintain, and remove the track at each stadium before moving to the next.

Thanks to Feld Entertainment, we had an all-access pass to the racing and post-race activities.

If you haven't attended a Supercross event, make it happen! It's AWESOME!

I'll see you next month! Don’t miss out!!
